Huawei is celebrating its tenth anniversary in the smartwatch industry with a special edition. The company unveiled the 10th Anniversary Edition of the Watch 5 series, a collector’s item launched in May, at an event held in China.

The new model retains its technical specifications while differing in design details. The “10 Years” inscription is featured on the crown and on the specially designed mesh nylon composite strap. Available in two case sizes, 42mm and 46mm, the device is constructed with top-of-the-line materials such as aerospace-grade titanium and 904L stainless steel.
The LTPO AMOLED display, protected by sapphire glass, reaches a brightness level of 3000 nits. On the hardware side, the X-Tap sensor, capable of ECG, PPG, and HRV measurements, stands out. Supporting eSIM, the watch offers up to 11 days of battery life in power-saving mode and approximately 5 days in standard use.
In terms of pricing, Huawei is offering the 42mm version for 2,799 yuan and the 46mm version for 2,899 yuan. These figures correspond to approximately $397 and $411 respectively.
Another part of the launch event was the announcement of a new color option for the Watch GT 6, called “Ice Blue.” This new variant, limited to the 41mm case size, comes with a rubber strap. The device, which does not include any hardware changes, features a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen and the TruSense health tracking system.
The Ice Blue model, which promises up to 7 days of use on a single charge, is priced at 1,488 yuan. While the Watch 5 10th Anniversary Edition is already on sale, the new color option for the Watch GT 6 will be available from January 1st.
